It gave them purpose, after a confounding loss that had no identifiable reason or cause.

It provided the family with their own version of faith — that if Scott’s vision is shared, her death wasn’t entirely in vain.

But, she wasn’t necessarily ready to receive this lifestyle.

Like many of us, her faith would be on fire one moment and at other times Christianity was at odds with her everyday life.

The film used Rachel’s honest and heartfelt journals to retell the story of this incredible teen’s journey.

Rachel’s mother is an executive producer on the film, giving access to such remarkable truthfulness of the impact one life can make.Investigations after the tragic event reported that Eric Harris asked Scott whether she believed in God before he killed her.In the early days following Columbine, this claim was made more than once — Cassie Bernall was thought to have been killed specifically because she was asked this question and answered in the affirmative. The telling of Scott’s story provides a hopeful reminder that when God’s in control, He’ll use our life for good, and we will make a significant difference in the world.“Rachel wrote that she would one day touch the lives of millions, and we’re honored to help make this dream a reality,” said Benny Proffitt, executive producer, and founder of the youth organization First Priority.
