This course is designed to offer a fast track to university for mature students who have no formal qualifications.It provides a wide a range of work-based information technology skills.This page contains information related to our legacy GCSE ICT specification available in England and Wales (taught from 2010).

Candidates submitting the unit 2 Controlled Task will meet the requirements of both with a little extra documentation.

Access courses are specifically designed to enable adults who don't have the necessary gateway qualifications such as A Levels to enter Higher Education.

The course is taught predominantly in a classroom environment through lectures, practical assignments, and group work.

The methods of teaching are similar in style to those used in universities to help you prepare for study at degree level.

The Access to HE Computing Level 3 is a fast-track means to university for adults students who lack formal qualifications but have the motivation and drive required to succeed at university.
