You will be asked to have a valid and original government issued photo ID when testing at the Assessment Center.
MATH 1304 has no prerequisites or required SAT/ACT scores.
To place into MATH 1306, a student must score a 22 or higher on the ACT math, a 500 or higher on the Old SAT math, or a 530 or higher on the New SAT math.
Students must report an essay score on either the ACT or SAT in order to place into ENGL 1321- Rhetoric and Composition 1.
ACTIn order to go into ENGL 1321, a student must score a 19 or higher on both the writing and reading portions of the ACT or have a19 or higher average on the reading and English sections.
Old SAT If a student scores a 960 or higher on the combined verbal and writing portions, then they will be placed into ENGL 1321.
If a student scores between a 920-959 on the combined verbal and writing portions, then they will place into ENGL 1321 and the additional 1-hour support course ENGL 0130.These are the tests we use: Appointments are highly recommended; see office hours here.Walk-in testing is based on space availability; long wait times may occur.
